What is an end-to-end plan for a new release campaign (timeline, assets, milestones)?

TLDR - Plan > Pre-save > Validate > Burst > Launch > 48h > Momentum > Flywheel > Review

Weeks minus 2 to 0

Get the song and art locked, write a short bio and a one page press note, cut three short vertical clips, and set one smart link for the whole campaign. Tell your own crowd what is coming with a gentle pre save ask and a pinned teaser. Make a short list of curators and creators who actually fit your sound.

Week 0 to 1

Release day is about making listening easy. Post two strong clips, send one honest email, and send personal notes to your top targets. Set your Artist Pick to the new track and your context playlist. Say thanks for every add you get. Your goal this week is simple. Lots of saves from real fans and low early skips.

Weeks 2 to 3

Keep the story moving. Share a behind the scenes or lyric video, ask one niche blog for a small exclusive, and duet or stitch the best creator posts. Look at what is working and shift your small budget toward the winners. Keep pointing people to the same smart link so you can see the lift.

Weeks 4 to 6

Drop an acoustic, a remix, or a live cut to give people a next step. Circle back to anyone who supported you and invite them to hear what is next. Put everything you learned into a single page. What moved saves, what was a time sink, and one change you will carry into the next release.

What to have ready

Final master and instrumental, cover image, a short bio, three vertical clips, one smart link with basic tracking, and a simple sheet where you note who you pitched and what happened.

How to know it worked

You see saves climbing in week one, skips staying low, a few quality playlists that feel like home, and a handful of new followers or emails. If a tactic does not move one of those, park it and spend the time on the things that did.
